Wade has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction. He has spent his career working mostly in Texas but has experience in Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Alabama. His specialty is urbanized storm water design in existing cities and watersheds. He uses his experience in private and public projects involving site design, road design, and water and wastewater designs. He has led projects for a single acre to multiple-use projects over 330 acres. Wade has worked on regional water studies, municipal airport drainage studies, city master plans, city comprehensive plans, and business park master plans.
Before becoming an engineer, Wade had a very ecliptic career in utility retail services, construction services, and professional services both in the private and public sectors. Wade was a licensed plumber and pipe fitter and a manager in the fire sprinkler industry. In 1984, Wade was an assistant soccer coach who traveled to China with his team to participate in a friendship soccer tournament held in four major cities, the beginning of a tournament that is still occurring today.
